Update to loan periods
Great news!
We are trialling an increase in the loan period for DVDs, Blu-rays, Games and Magazines from one week to three weeks. This will make it easier to manage your loans - with all items due back on the same date. From Sunday 1 January, all items can be borrowed for three weeks.
Remember your loans can be renewed twice unless an item is reserved by another borrower.
And don’t forget that we have reinstated overdue fees, with all items returned late incurring a 25 cents per day fee. Make sure you return or renew your items before the due date.
Renewals can be made via phone, website, our app or in person at any branch.
What is changing?
The loan period for magazines, DVDs, Blu-rays and games will increase from one week to three weeks.

We hope this will make it much easier to keep track of your loans and their due dates.
When will the change happen?
The increased loan period will apply to all magazines, DVDs, Blu-rays and games borrowed from Sunday 1 January 2023.
