Notice of closure

As per the Premier’s announcement on Sunday 2 August, we have been directed to move to Stage 4 restrictions. 

Glen Eira Libraries are closed until health restrictions are lifted. Returns chutes will be closed. No new reservations for physical items may be placed. Due dates have been  extended until 30 September. No late fees will be charged. Find out more on our FAQs page.





About a Girl

Join Georgie Stone OAM, a transgender advocate who has overcome prejudice, bullying, and legal barriers to become the remarkable young woman she is today, with Rebekah Robertson OAM, author, actor, advocate for transgender rights and Georgie’s mum!

Rebekah’s book About A Girl charts her experiences raising Georgie from birth through to adulthood and catalogues her family’s appeal before the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia and then to the Federal Parliament to remove harmful and discriminatory laws. 

Join Georgie and Rebekah as they discuss their inspiring journeys as brave and visible advocates for the trans and gender diverse youth in Australia.

Thursday 3 September, 7pm-8pm


Participants will be emailed the link to the session on the day of the event.

Suitable for ages 14 and up. Free event. Bookings essential.
