Bring Your Bills Day

Are you worried about rising energy bills and unsure how to reduce your costs? Would you like assistance to apply for the $250 Power Saving Bonus?

At this drop-in session, energy advisors from the Brotherhood of St. Laurence and Uniting Vic. Tas. will be on hand to:

  • Help you claim the Victorian Government's $250 Power Saving Bonus
  • Show you how to check you're on the best electricity offer with your retailer and receiving eligible concessions

*To be eligible for the $250 Power Saving Bonus you must be a Victorian residential energy consumer (ie. have a residential electricity account) and be the account holder. One payment per household.

What to bring:

  • Your most recent electricity bill (all pages of the bill)
  • Your bank details, including BSB and account number (optional, as you can receive the payment by cheque in the mail). Payment is made to the electricity account holder.

Interpreters are available for over-the-phone Power Saving Bonus applications by calling (03) 9956 8850.

Free event. Bookings are not essential but assist us in managing numbers. You can drop in at any time on the day; please attend as early as possible before 6pm. Allow 10-15 minutes for the assistance.

This free event, in partnership with Brotherhood of St. Laurence and Uniting Vic. Tas., is part of Glen Eira City Council’s climate action to assist people to save energy and ease cost of living pressures.
