Notice of closure

Following the Premier's announcement, for the continued good health of our community Glen Eira Libraries are closed from Thursday 9 July for six weeks or until health restrictions are lifted. Returns chutes will be closed. No new reservations for physical items may be placed. Due dates will be extended until 31 August. No late fees will be charged.





The Innocent Reader – In Conversation with Dr Debra Adelaide and Claire Halliday

Join Dr Debra Adelaide, author and academic from Sydney, as she discusses her recent work: The Innocent Reader: essays on reading and writing as she revisits some favourite titles and interrogates what it means for a practising writer to be a curious, critical and creative reader.

Explore the writing process, the relationship between reader, writer and texts, and celebrate the overall power of the written word. 

Thursday 6 August, 6.30pm-7.30pm


Participants will be emailed the link to the session on the day of the event. Suitable for adults and teens ages 15 and up. Free event and bookings are essential.
