An Afternoon with Valanga Khoza

Valanga Khoza joins us for Cultural Diversity Week.

Valanga Khoza was born in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, an area rich in traditional healers, orators and storytellers. These were his neighbours, and their nightly ceremonies carried songs and rhythms passed down through generations. Today, his music and storytelling blend these traditions with influences from his travels around the globe, driven by his fight against racism.

To kick off Cultural Diversity Week, Join Valanga as he tells stories of his childhood in rural South Africa, magically weaving traditional South African instruments and singing in English, Zulu, Shangaan and Xhosa.

This is an event not to be missed.

Suitable for primary school children aged 5-9. Free event and bookings essential. Adults do not require a ticket but children must not be left unattended.
