McKINNON LIBRARY POP-UP NOW CLOSED:

We are now transitioning to our new home at Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub, opening on Wednesday 26 October with our family-friendly Open Day. Services will still be available at Caulfield, Elsternwick and Carnegie libraries - as well as online. You can also return your books to any of these branches while we are moving. Check out our full FAQ for more information and follow us on social media for updates.

Book a computer

You can book to use a computer at the library. Self-serve printing and scanning is also available. Free Wi-Fi is also available at the libraries.

How to book a library computer

Bookings are essential and can be made by library members up to seven days in advance online, in person or by phone. Guest access is also available at the libraries for one-off visitor use.

Things to know about public computer use

Glen Eira Libraries provides computers for all members of our community to use. To ensure as many people as possible have access:

  1. Only the person named on the library card that the public computer (PC) has been booked under may use that computer. Otherwise they will be asked to vacate the computer.
  2. If a person cancels more than one PC booking per day, they will be barred from booking a PC for one month.
  3. We recommend that daily usage be limited to enable other library members to access a computer.
