How does Kanopy work?

  • You can use any device with a web browser
  • You have 30 credits per month to 'spend' on films and television shows - unused credits do not carry over to the next month
  • Once you click play on a video, the credits will be deducted from your total and you'll have a limited time to watch the video before it expires
  • Check the video details to see how long you have access
  • Kanopy Kids titles do not use credits and have no restrictions on access
  • Create your own watch lists and rate films
  • New content is added every month
  • For the visually impaired, Kanopy is fully compatible with all screen readers on desktop browsers, as well as with iOS and Android devices

Check the Kanopy website for more information about using credits.
