Bentleigh Library is part of an integrated community hub that is also home to Council's Youth Services. We are close to the busy Centre Road shopping precinct with its mix of services and cafes.

Library hours

  • Monday to Thursday, 10am–9pm
  • Friday, 10am–6pm
  • Saturday, 10am–4pm
  • Sunday, 12pm–5pm  

The returns chute is available 24 hours a day. Please note: Library is closed on public holidays.

Youth Services

The new hub offers centralised access to youth worker support and training programs. Head to Youth Services for more information on their programs, opening hours, and services. 

Studio 161

Studio 161 is a purpose-built space with a content recording space and separate control room. Equipped with high-end recording equipment, the studio can be used for projects including audio and video podcasts, voice-overs, filming content, and more.

Council’s Youth Services team is currently piloting the use of Studio 161 as part of their Living and Life Skills program. At the conclusion of this pilot (mid-2023) we will look at opening up the studio for general community bookings.
