Make a Party Hat

Time: 11am - 12pm
Location:
Glen Eira Town Hall Gallery
Cost:
Free - Bookings essential
Ages:
Suitable for ages 3 and up

We wear hats for many reasons. Hats can protect us from the sun, rain or cold weather. They can also be part of a uniform, express style, or represent a special tradition or celebration. A party hat is usually cone-shaped and secured with an elastic string under your chin. It’s often worn at birthday parties or celebrations like New Year’s Eve.

In this activity, children are invited to decorate a party hat with stickers. Making and wearing party hats helps kids develop, fine motor skills.

All materials are provided. Adults may need to assist their child.

Adults do not require a ticket, but children must not be left unattended.
