Tales with Tails

Is your child a reluctant reader?

Express your interest in our six-week program (held during school terms), where children read aloud to trained therapy dogs Harvey and Denver, guided by our program facilitator and children’s librarians in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Tales with Tails is more than a reading program. Through calm and supportive sessions without pressure or expectation, children are gently encouraged to build positive associations with books and libraries, feel comfortable in shared community spaces, and build social connections over time.

Spots are limited. Register your interest via our EOI form, and a member of the team will be in touch if you’re selected for the program.
