Library of Things

What if you could try before you buy and reduce clutter in your home? Welcome to our Library of Things (LoT) collection—a sustainable way to borrow a range of non-traditional library items. 

• To borrow, you must be a Glen Eira Libraries member aged 18 years or over. 
• Borrowers must review the Lending Conditions and sign a Waiver and Indemnity Agreement before borrowing.
• Members may borrow up to two (2) Library of Things items at a time or up to four (4) Golf Discs at a time.
• Items can be reserved but not renewed
• The loan period for all items is three (3) weeks
• Items may be borrowed from and returned to any Glen Eira Libraries branch. 
• Library of Things items cannot be returned via the chute and must be must be handed to staff.
