Officers from the Australian Bureau of Statistics will be popping up at our libraries to answer your questions, support you with completing the Census online, or provide paper forms and reply-paid envelopes if you prefer to fill it out by hand and return it by Australia Post.

What is the Census?

Every five years, the ABS counts every person and household in Australia. This is called the Census of Population and Housing.

The Census is the most comprehensive snapshot of the country and tells the story of how we are changing.
