All library branches will be closed on Monday 9 March for the Labour Day Public Holiday. Return chutes remain open for your convenience and remember our digital library is always available, as well as our Library Locker at Carnegie. All branches reopen as normal on Tuesday 10 March.

    Drop-in Sewing Sessions

    A relaxed, supported space to sew and create.

    Join our monthly drop-in Sewing Sessions!

    This will be a facilitated learning space where you can come in and utilise our public sewing machines.
    Whether you want to complete your own DIY projects or learn some tips from a professional, all are welcome.


    Second Saturday of the month
    Carnegie Library and Community Centre
    11am—2pm

    Saturday 14 March
    Saturday 11 April
    Saturday 9 May

    Free event. Bookings not required, but capacity is limited and therefore wait times may apply. Time limits also apply.

    First-time attendants will be required to sign a waiver form for use of public sewing machines and equipment.
