Multilingual Storytelling Showcase

Travel the world through story, movement and song.

Join Rohini Vij, Leticia Hennessy-Maia, Priti Modyiyder and Dee Palanisamy as they share fun, engaging tales filled with rhythm and movement. The folktales told in Hindi, Tamil and Portuguese come to life through the voices of four vibrant oral storytellers from Naarm/Melbourne.

Journey across cultures and traditions as stories of clever characters, brave heroes and playful adventures unfold. This interactive session invites audiences of all ages to listen, move, and celebrate storytelling traditions from around the world.

Stay on after the session for a storytelling-inspired craft activity, where children can create their own take-home keepsake.

Proudly part of the 2026 Glen Eira Storytelling Festival.
Suitable for all ages.
Tickets: $7 per child; adults free.
Session followed by a free craft activity.
