Join Natashia reading her new book Just Like You.
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. Join us for a Special Storytime with Natashia Curtin for a reading of her book Just Like You, all about her unique cross-cultural childhood growing up in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, in a Yolngu community called Ramingining.
Published in English and Gupapuyngu, the book celebrates the universal experiences of childhood which bind us all together.
Just Like You was published with the approval of Yolungu Elders.
For the full Reconciliation Week Program, go to gleneira.vic.gov.au/NRW.
Free event. Bookings not required. Parental supervision required for all children under 12.
