GRAND FINAL EVE PUBLIC HOLIDAY:

All library branches will be closed on Friday 25 September for the Grand Final Eve Public Holiday. Return chutes remain open for your convenience.

The Sewing Circle

Love to sew, but don’t have space for a machine at home? We’ve got you covered.

Pull up a chair at our monthly sewing circle and make use of our public sewing machines to work on your own projects in a shared creative space.

This is not a beginner class—participants should have basic sewing skills and be able to work independently, though an experienced facilitator will be on hand to offer tips and guidance.

  • For ages 18 and up.

  • Free sessions. Bookings not required.

  • First-time attendees must sign a waiver form before using public sewing machines and equipment.

  • Limited capacity and wait times may apply.

  • Time limits may apply during busy periods.
